Color and size options

Ceramic sheets made of zirconium powder, baked in molds at extreme heat and ground several times by machine grinding and hand polishing.

Tested for sharpness on 3 occasions during the manufacturing process.

100% purity in leaf colors without stains from other colors.

Well-balanced balance in the hand.

Unique design with handles coated with Neoprene, which gives a fantastic rubber-like grip. Chrome end caps that give the knives a fantastic beauty. These knives have our patented, unique, rounded tips that minimize the risk of the tip breaking, which sharp-pointed ceramic knives have as a common problem. Black or white color of your choice, with leaves 200 mm long.

The biggest risk with knives is that the blade comes loose from the handle, which is why we test each blade to withstand a tensile force of 50 kg. The standard prescribes 25 kg.

Warranty: We offer a unique 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects on our knives, as long as they are used normally.

Ceramic knives should be used to cut with and not to e.g. split a potato by breaking the knife to the side when it is halfway. The blade can then be broken.

Maintenance: If the knife, after long use or through negligence, becomes blunt, it is necessary to sharpen the knife professionally. Clean and dry the knife immediately after use. Doing so will avoid ugly marks and also prevent the risk of bacteria spreading from various foods.

Several years ago we had a special agreement with IKEA, where we helped them with ideas for new development in areas where we thought they were missing something, and we provided means of production for it. At one of the meetings about this at IKEA's head office, we were asked if we could also make ceramics. Our manager replied: No, we can not make ceramic flower pots and IKEA said, no, no, we mean ceramic knives. Since this was within what we could do, these knives with all their unique properties were presented to them.

We delivered millions of these knives worldwide and this item climbed to become one of the 10 biggest sellers in IKEA's range of non-furniture.

If you bought these at the time, we would be interested to hear your reviews, now many, many years later.

How and why it ended with IKEA is a fun story in itself and involves the fantastic founder of IKEA Ingvar Kamprad, RIP! Who knows, maybe their current management will knock on our door one day to get them back to their range again?

In the meantime, you can buy them here!
