The MIA series is characterized by a high-quality design of painted, waterproof MDF and birch for the variants White and Anthracite and of solid Oak for the variant Oiled oak. Easy installation! Everything durable and easy to clean. All variants have adjustable metal feet as protection against penetrating water from the floor.
The purity of the design originally comes from the SHAKER movement that was formed in the late 18th century in the United States with Quakers who shook in different ways in their religious practices. Their lifestyle had simplicity, celibacy and minimalism as high ideals. The handles on MIA are a classic Shaker solution with the function made in the furniture instead of loose fitted handles. This way of thinking is also reflected in the Scandinavian design that was developed since the 70s.
The oak variant oiled with our unique 0% VOC solvent-free hard wax oil, tested and approved for contact with food.
