Swoppmokk dining group is made of solid FSC-certified Akacia. A perfect solution for the kitchen and dining area. The board and seats are oiled with our solution-free 0% VOC hard wax oil, tested and approved for contact with food. White painted base.
The combination of oiled wood and white painted in general, gives your home an elegant touch. Would you like to be inspired by supplementing with our solid 'liquid' AFLOAT wall shelves or why not, a matching solid kitchen worktop in the kitchen? All our products are oiled with our own unique hard wax oil and are easily combined to give you your own design expression in the dining room or kitchen.
The table measures 118x74 cm and provides good space for 4 people.
Storyn
Many years ago we were asked by IKEA if we could do something similar to their JOKKMOKK pine food group in Acacia, as they had problems with the supply from a factory that made millions of this group for them. We jazzed to the back tiles in the configuration we have today and made samples partly completely oiled in our Golden Teak shade and partly completely white and black painted. When we looked at the samples, something felt wrong until we started to change so that we got Golden Teak table tops and seats with white and black bases and SWOPPMOKK saw the light of day. (Swop in English = change)
There was never a deal with IKEA for this as they solved their problems with the factory and our hardwood variant with high-quality surface treatment, of course will be much more expensive than IKEA's pine variant.
